In November 1900, the classical Giannini guitar workshop was established by Italian luthier, Tranquillo Giannini. His ambition to build acoustic instruments in Brazil led to a long and successful tradition of guitar making still carried on today.The workshop was an instant success and by the 1930's the company had to start manufacturing strings in order to keep up with demand and maintain the quality of its guitars.
